Each month we turn the spotlight on one area related to embedding Social Emotional Learning in schools. This month we’re looking at Self-Control, which is an important component of SEL. When children learn and develop strategies to practice self-control, it enables them to be able to plan and evaluate alternative actions, rather than responding to impulses as they arise.
