PATHS® has been part of a Randomised Controlled Trial in Northern Ireland.
This executive summary briefly summarizes the outcomes of a randomized trial of the effects of the PATHS® Curriculum in Northern Ireland Schools. The PATHS® Curriculum is designed to improve children’s mutual understanding, empathy, problem solving, and behaviour (Kusche & Greenberg, 2012). This independent evaluation draws on data obtained by Queens’ University, Belfast at Time 1 (Autumn, 2008) and by the Institute for Effective Education (IEE), University of York/Johns Hopkins University at Time 2 (Summer 2009) and Time 3 (Summer, 2010).
