International Day of Happiness

18th March | General |

At difficult times it’s important to focus on the positives where we can. It’s especially important that children aren’t picking up on growing panic and anxiety and are, however possible, shielded from worry; and instead are encouraged to be resilient in challenging times. The perfect day to make a start on this is International Day of Happiness, on 20th March. This year’s theme is “Happier Together” and while we’re socially distancing and spending more time with our close family units, let’s make lots of efforts to be ‘happier together’ and make the absolute best of this challenging situation. We’ve written a blog (originally for use in schools) which can be easily adapted and ideas used in homes instead. For further ideas on SEL activities at home, follow our social media channels as we’ll share ideas as and when we can.
